Filming in the classroom today, it looks like this class is more like a professional design and production studio. They split up work, designate deadlines, discuss what inventory needs to be done, etc. There is a lot of Lifeworld discourse brought in before and after that occasionally results in constative and other forms of communicate conflict. Having the cameras still seems to keep these kids less anxious about being on film. It may also be due to this higher level, older group of kids. I have been told some are already doing modeling and acting.
They have already fully integrated our project into thee workflow. The kids and teacher really interact well and know what they are doing in terms of organization. They also have a lot of fun and have a relaxed relationship from what I’ve observed thus far. They are polite and helpful with myself and my crew.
